  • My position was the Group - Chief Marketing Officer. I reported into the Group CEO and sat in the Executive (Exco) of DPO Group. My key deliverable was to transform the Marketing Division from the previous role of simple marketing services delivery to a fully functional, operational and properly structured marketing division able to deliver brand awareness and product penetration across Africa. Another fundamental deliverable was to bring two of the South African subsidiary company’s marketing departments under one division to streamline accountability, planning, resourcing and reporting across the group.
