  • This was Matt's first foot into fully managing an SEO department. Whilst at Zeal - Matt managed the strategy and deployment of SEO for 4+ clients, including Yorkshire Water.   • Whilst at the Telegraph, Matt was involved in four out of five all-time top branded content campaigns in search. Search traffic doubled since he started. He introduced an array of new tools, processes and implementations that improved SEO for the publisher, for example rank, keyword density and topic measurement.

  • He has brought richer SEO data accountability to the team and led right from the pitch to the final published and distributed end product.

    -Matt was hired in order to improve the number of SEO tactics. This includes paid search, data rich content ideation and search optimisations. Ontop of this he improved the SEO account management, presentation styles, client reporting, campaign accountability and search trending processes.

    -Matt helped to half the overall bounce rates, increase overall traffic by 10x and increase search authority by 75% for a major property client website. Whilst for another he created a 6.5% conversion from content.

  • Matt's team at Adjust Your Set (AYS is now a part of Oliver Agency) built some of the most optimised and bespoke video player embeds in the world. Both Econsultancy and Moz recognised the SEO features within the video player embeds.
  • Beyond the technical aspect of AYS, video production and the sort after branded content search insights drove some incredible in house productions. For example an orchestral flash mob for BA. Providing at best, 3 fold lifts in views from YouTube search and 41% lifts in Google Search traffic.
  • Clients include M&S, M&S Bank, Debenhams, Thomas Pink, Austin Reed, British Airways, Carphone Warehouse, Historic Royal Palaces, Dixons and Liz Earle to name a few.
  • Role:
    -Matt managed the day to day search and social Insights and optimisations of an extremely hard working team. The role consists of keeping everyone uber inventive in the optimisation of content, pre and post production trending, identifying syndication partner links - whilst keeping search and social audiences right at the heart of every piece of work.

  • Matt came to Alison Cork based on his work at The Daily Telegraph. His passion for interiors could have helped mind you. He created some very compelling homeware Advertorials for Alison and created many stand alone magazines (on and off line) for many furniture and interior companies nationwide.
  • With Alison he organised and exhibited at the 2009 Ideal Home Show a giant 600 square foot stand of home and interior clients.
  • The work enlisted weekly advertorial, online content and even whole magazines for The Times, Evening Standard, Mail on Sunday and of course The Daily Telegraph.
  • In one month Matt managed to create £70,000 of revenue from his Advertorials.

    -Matt helped Leather Sofas Online sell 50+ sofas through advertorial in one weekend.

  • Matt was so pleased to work at the Daily Telegraph having been bought up on Broadsheets. His arrival was just as display advertising for property was booming, Online display advertising had just taken helm and agents all over the world wanted the English buyers. Matt personally developed a lucrative client base of 50 property developers right across the world.
  • Matt enjoyed building relationships with clients who ultimately came to admire his enthusiasm for finding audience. His proudest moment at The Daily Telegraph was helping to launch the London Property Supplement as well a 27 page Overseas Property Supplement that grossed a healthy £150,000 turnover.
